Corsair’s experts analyze and update the system throughout the life cycle. DTAS® leads to increased readiness and lower O&S cost due to increased first-time fix rate (FTFR), reduced repeat defects and unscheduled maintenance manhours (UMMH), reduced rogue and burned parts, and increased efficiencies by overcoming documentation errors and bridging the gap in knowledge between junior and senior maintainers.
ChronicX® is a readiness analysis tool that supports daily proactive maintenance management by providing fleet managers with operational intelligence needed to recognize and manage recurring defects. Chronic problems are identified through advanced language processing algorithms that enable the tool to read, analyze, and log all maintenance actions being performed.
SpotLight® is an interactive knowledge-based digital troubleshooting tool that enables maintainers to rapidly isolate root causes of defects to resolve performance issues. It continuously captures evolving troubleshooting knowledge, delivering global field experience to all technicians.
Corsair’s Digital Troubleshooting and Analysis System (DTAS®) is an ecosystem comprised of the software modules, ChronicX® and SpotLight®, coupled with expert processes, analysis, and databases.
The adaptation for defense customers is specific to the needs of the platform, but the process is highly flexible and applicable to any maintenance environment. Implementation includes scripting for data import, customization of dashboards and reports, and dictionary and knowledge-base development. Adaptation of the DTAS® tool suite includes integrating it in an effective manner into the platform’s pre-existing maintenance procedures.
