Field Service Technician

Field Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled person interested in assisting in the assembly of an aviation maintenance training device. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the systematic assembly of a training device, ensuring that all components are carefully installed, documented, and tested for proper fit and function. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deconstruction: Methodically assist in the assembly of a maintenance training device, including hardware,
  software, and electronic components, following established protocols.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all components installed, including serial numbers, condition, and
  any relevant specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols during the assembly process to ensure a safe
  working environment.
• Inventory Management: Organize and label all components for easy identification and retrieval and assist in 
  managing inventory for future projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and technical teams to provide insights into the simulator’s
  components and systems.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress and any challenges encountered during the assembly process.

Work Environment:
• This position may require working in a workshop or simulation environment, with exposure to machinery and
  electronic components.
• This position will be up to 60 hours a week
• The work period will be from April to August for this effort.
• International Travel will be required

Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizen required
• Current U.S. Passport required
• Veteran with an Avionics background 
• Previous experience in deconstruction, assembly, or maintenance of complex machinery or electronic systems is 
  highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment; familiarity with 3D flight simulators or
  similar technology is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the assembly
  process.
• Meticulous approach to work, ensuring that all components are handled with care and properly documented.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test


Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or certification in a related field (e.g., engineering, electronics) is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated platforms.

Pay Rate: $115K
